2024 AGM
The 56th AGM of the Midland Area of the Motor Caravan Section was held last weekend;
Wonderful Wolverley!
What a great site for our AGM! We are no strangers to the site but little wonder! Bus near. Pub on the spot, nice canal walks to the nearby village of Cookley or the other way to the carpet town of Kidderminster with all its shops and places to eat!. Hard standing and lovely friendly staff plus a room for social meet ups and our AGM. We have a new committee and plenty of new ideas..
Well attended and much laughter in the evening in the club room with quizzes (thank you Lynne!) to co-incide with St. Patrick’s Day. A wonderful buffet after the AGM thank you Steve and Helen for catering – Lovely cake – thank you again. Coffee morning with lots of chatter and laughter!

A big thank you to all attendees and a special note of thanks to our good friends from East Midlands Area who always give us so much support!
Roll on next time!
Stow-on-the-Wold THS
A big vote of thanks must go to Lynne and Colin for all the hard work in managing this year’s THS at Stow. Also to their team of Stewards and assistant Stewards who gave up their time to ensure its success: Edith, Steve & Helen, Christopher, Daniel & Hannah + Children, Tim & Muriel, Andrea & Rob. Finally, a big thank you to all the campers who supported the event!
Following on from 2022 we were delighted with the increased support we received this year. For anyone think of visiting our THS in 2024 the location is ideal – not far from Stow and supported by community buses that run most mornings for half a day, to surrounding cotswold villages.
The site is spacious with plenty of nice walks around the area. The Rugby Club bar opens most evenings and this year there was a pizza van available on club open nights.
Roll on 2024!

Rowsley Peak Rail 2023
The weather was fantastic and the fellowship great!
Not only that but with the nearby shopping outlet just a few minutes walk, a bus stop outside the gate and a steam train running to Matlock on Wednesday what a wonderful way to spend the week! We will return!
Droitwich Meet April 2023
Unfortunately our meet at Dodderhill Equestrian Centre was cancelled this year due to poor weather.
2023 AGM at Rugeley
Another great weekend at Rugeley! 16 Units and everyone really enjoyed the weekend. St. Patricks’s Day and of course Red Nose Day were celebrated in some style. The raffle provided plenty of laughs and a big thank you to the team for providing the refreshments after the AGM.
Christmas at Blackmore Club Site
Blackmore Club site is ideal for Christmas shopping in nearby Malvern and fairly close to the beautiful city of Worcester.
The site has a very nice room on site and we had a wonderful week shopping, dog walking and socialising. The highlight was a Christmas meal together in nearby Malvern and our grateful thanks to Edith for organising that. Our thanks too to Lynne and Colin for organising the quizzes, entertainment in general and the Secret Santa!
Halloween meet at Wolverley Club site
Another pleasant meet at Wolverley. Witches and wizards wandering around in the evening. Fun and (spooky) Halloween games.
The weather was kind and the company great! Thanks to Lynne and Colin for stewarding and running the evening entertainment.
Easter at Bakewell
The Easter meet at Bakewell Showground proved to be very popular and most enjoyable we look forward to returning in 2024!
Blackmore Club site
